The Covid-19 pandemic hit us all hard and forced us to reinvent ourselves. Like many others, Javi’s Bakes needed an attractive brand development that would allow it to quickly position itself and cope with the contingency. The business was born as a small initiative during the pandemic, offering desserts with home delivery.

As the designer responsible for the brand, I developed the main visual identity and various label designs related to key dates for the brand. Due to the pandemic conditions, it was difficult to conduct an in-depth user analysis. However, this allowed greater creative freedom, turning the process into an experimental approach based on feedback from early customers and the reach achieved through social media, where the visual designs were also used. Additionally, I carried out product photography sessions for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
Thanks to the work carried out, the company quickly began to grow, reaching over 5,000 local followers in the first year and establishing a loyal and stable customer base. This allowed the company to add new products in a short time and position itself as an attractive option in its segment. Positive customer feedback was reflected in social media comments, where many highlighted the quality of the products and personalized attention. The brand also collaborated with local influencers, mutually enhancing their visibility and increasing their reach. After the end of the lockdowns, the project continued for a few more months but is currently on indefinite hiatus due to the ‘return to normality.’
