Web Design & UX/UI for Real-Time Hive Monitoring Transforming complex data into an intuitive visual system for decision-making in the field.
Panaltec began as an IoT project focused on developing a device capable of measuring various variables within a beehive, transmitting the data to an online platform for monitoring.
The Challenge
Panaltec developed a revolutionary IoT device for remote hive monitoring. However, they faced an adoption barrier: the technology appeared complex and inaccessible to their primary user, the traditional beekeeper. They needed an identity that inspired trust and a data visualization interface that was readable under field conditions.
The Solution
Working with a user-centered methodology, I developed a comprehensive identity system:
- Product Identity: I created a visual brand using a high-contrast palette (Orange/Black/Grey), ensuring not only brand recognition but also visual accessibility for reading data in direct sunlight. This was complemented by B2B and B2C marketing assets.
- Interface & Trust: I designed the website wireframes and part of the monitoring app’s UI, prioritizing the clarity of critical information. This helped the startup project reliability, facilitating their ability to secure funding and enter the market.
